Blue Monster

About the project

A commercial for the antifungal brand Livarol. The disease is shown as a grotesque blue monster that clings to the heroine and invades her space, while the brand mascot, Livarolman, pulls it away and gives her back comfort and freedom. The film combines green-screen live action with fully CG environments, stylized creature animation and VFX compositing.

What I did

• 01CG environments for the key scenes.
• 02Shading and lighting matched to the live action.
• 03Integration of the green-screen footage into the 3D environments — matching camera angles and movement.
• 04Rendering of passes for compositing.
